Ojai Rotie
Backstory + Summary
The creator and host of the wildly popular television show, Dinner and A Movie Claud Mann is the god of bread! Co-owner of Ojai favorite, Ojai Rotie, for a few years Claud’s obsession has been perfecting sourdough bread. The result is, without question, the best sourdough bread you’ll ever taste!
With sales growing, and the subsequent demands for increased oven space, the operation was moved to a satellite kitchen. Increased capacity opened new markets and with them the need for advertising.
Docuseries style video
Starting with an interview and an afternoon with Claud in the kitchen, we created esoteric advertising befitting the man behind the bake. Foodies love art. They love Chef’s Table. And they love bread. By creating documentary-style assets, but with a feel all their own, Claud is able to easily connect with his target audience on social media.
Shoot Once - Cut Many Times
With deliberate campaign planning we’re able to turn one shoot into an endless well of assets. The video above may be the hero, but the short, highly graphic posts below are the campaign’s digital foot soldiers; driving excitement and product interest in quick bites (I couldn’t resist!) as they plainly direct viewers to LEARN MORE, guiding them easily to a bread purchasing portal.
Hack My Van Custom Sprinter Vans
Summary
Every new company needs carefully created content to grow their business. Created by a long time entrepreneur, and with high level understanding of story-driven marketing, we set out to create a robust image bank for the brands cross platform marketing efforts.
Process
Wanting to deliver maximum results in a relatively short two days required a high level of preproduction.. Specially chosen locations, and the exact times to be at each, was carefully planned. Targeting specific demographics required an intensive model search and wardrobe selection.
Trust
This was our second time working for company owner, Will Pemble. Committed to our involvement, and that the backdrop should be the unmistakable beauty that can only be the West Coast. With a short window of time to get it all done, the van was actually driven 2500 miles to our location. If there’s a Will there’s a way!
Ropesafe
Project Summary
Combat veteran-owned and operated, RopeSafe makes products that save lives. Looking to expand into new market segments, we concentrated on real-world video in the actual environments where the products are utilized. Further enhancing their messaging we developed a powerful logo-based motion graphic and immediate brand identifier.
Extreme filming
As both a rescue and hobbyist climbing device, the requirements for video capture were unusual and included:
Ice climbing in New Hampshire; rappeled a 300’ frozen waterfall
Firefighter training exercises; rappeled a 4-story training tower
Full dress aircraft carrier wargames; lowering from ship deck to Reconnaissance Craft
Blackhawk and repelling exercises at Nellis Air Force base in Nevada.
Results
New markets saw an almost immediate boost in sales
Explainer video reduced support needs and improved website session lengths
Greatly improved social media engagement
